Background & Position Summary


Purple Plum Consulting is a gold partner of monday.com – a flexible platform that improves team efficiency and productivity – that is experiencing tremendous growth. We are exclusively focused on selling monday.com software licenses as well as monday.com professional services, including onboarding, training, and implementation. The Account Executive will focus on building out a robust sales funnel for the sale of monday.com subscriptions and professional services and managing each prospect from lead to closure. This position will allow for significant autonomy and creativity in defining, and then executing a sales strategy, as well as the ability to drive go-to-market offerings and pricing and will be more heavily weighted towards “hunting” (identifying new leads) vs “farming” (cultivating existing leads).

Responsibilities


  • Drive identification of new lead sources
  • Leverage company database platforms to identify prospects
  • Identify opportunities across social media, personal networks, and beyond
  • Foster strong relationships with prospects by understanding their solution requirements and existing pain points
  • Develop collateral to support the sales process
  • Prepare monday.com demonstrations that enable customer processes and address pain points
  • Partner closely with the marketing team to develop impactful messaging
  • Establish innovative partnerships to expand subscription and professional services sales reach
  • Create an active presence on social media 


Requirements


  • 3+ years sales experience
  • Proven B2B sales experience; SaaS sales experience a strong plus
  • Driven to enhance business processes and find value
  • Superb verbal communication skills
  • Superior writing and editing skills
  • Ability to create compelling sales presentations
  • Experience configuring and demonstrating software as part of the sales process
  • Very strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for technology
  • monday.com experience a strong plus
  • Developed EQ – able to quickly relate to customers and their challenges


General


  • Position is remote and can be performed from any city in the US; Atlanta-based would be ideal but not required
  • Approximately 30-40 hours per week
  • Pay basis will consist of base plus commission
  • Competitive compensation, flexible schedule, generous vacation

We are exclusively focused on selling monday.com software licenses as well as monday.com professional services, including onboarding, training, and implementation. The Solution Consultant role is key to delivering high-quality, customer-centric professional services that ensure that our customers are able to fully harness their investment in the monday.com platform. You will work directly with customers from kick-off meeting through to implementation, ensuring that their requirements are effectively implemented within monday.com – either directly or leveraging integration and development solutions.  You will collaborate closely with peers to ensure your knowledge and skills are expanded and will also have the opportunity to coach and mentor others. You will enable customers grow their businesses, and deliver value, through the use of monday.com and well designed processes.

Responsibilities


  • Ability to quickly understand client business operations, key goals, and current pain points, and how they can be addressed by monday.com
  • Preparation for, and facilitation of, customer consulting and training sessions
  • Creation of process and requirements documentation, and general communications, associated with customer consulting and training sessions
  • Configuration of the monday.com platform including setup of boards, automations, integrations, dashboards and other features 
  • Research and prototyping associated with customer required features and workflows 
  • Testing and validation of monday.com configuration and development
  • Coordination with Purple Plum Consulting technical partners 
  • Post-implementation support 


Requirements


  • 1+ years’ experience working with monday.com – in either an implementation, training or end-user capacity
  • 2+ years’ experience with SaaS products e.g. Asana, Smartsheets, Basecamp and Salesforce.com 
  • 1+ years’ experience working with integration tools such as Zapier and Integromat/Make.com 
  • Experience in a customer facing consulting or implementation role
  • Familiarity with general software development practices 
  • Ability to multi-task, working with several customers in parallel 
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience across multiple industries 
  • Passion for technology and driven to enhance business processes 
  • Strong Excel proficiency 
  • Developed EQ – able to quickly relate to customers and their challenges
